Contributions & Copywriting

Curiocity Vancouver | June 2017 – present
Curiocity Vancouver is the evolution of the Instagram account formerly known as VancityHype. They have now expanded to three Canadian cities under one unified brand to bring to the public the best that these cities have to offer. I write primarily about the food and drink scene in Vancouver, as well as our weekly events feature. View my author archive here.

RESAAS Blog | May 2017 – August 2017
During my second co-op term, I worked at Vancouver tech company RESAAS. In my role as a Digital Content Coordinator, I wrote 22 pieces that focused around real estate, including topics such as tips and best practices, marketing in real estate, technology in real estate, and specific market trends in large real estate markets such as San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto. Here are a few selected works that performed the best during my co-op term:
“How to Sell Luxury Homes: Our 5 Tip Guide”
“An Insider’s Perspective on How to Sell Luxury Homes in Vancouver”
“A Realtor’s Guide to Video Marketing”

The PeakNovember 2015 – August 2017
SFU’s student run newspaper. I have had pieces published in every section of the newspaper: news, opinions, features, arts, sports, and humour. From long form, investigative journalistic pieces to short, parody content, The Peak has given the opportunity to have my writing edited, published, and shared with a student population of approximately 35,000 students. View my author archive here.

Speak Out Blog | May 2015 – May 2016
A blog created to serve as a space for dialogue on everyday topics such as life and love, and tougher topics such as mental illness, abused, and sexuality. I have published a number of pieces based on my own experience with mental illness and relationships. View my author archive here.

Student Life Network Blog | July 2014 – May 2016
Based out of Toronto, Ontario, this blog was designed to connect students across Canada with great and relatable content pertaining to student life.
