Music Monday: Stuck in my brain

Link to the playlist here.

I can’t be the only one that gets songs stuck in my head. It becomes incredibly unfortunate when it’s a song that you hate but unfortunately gets lodged into your brain somewhere. But occasionally, there are some really great songs that you keep playing and replaying in your head, and you eventually learn all the words to them and can pretty much sing the song on command. That’s how I feel about all of the tracks on this particular playlist – little songs that seem to rotate on a never ending, infinite playlist. Think intoxicating voices and melodies that are so infectious, it would be a miracle if you weren’t singing it aloud after it’s all said and done.

“The Magician” | Andy Shauf (As an ex-clarinet player, I am in love with this one.)
“Human” | Rag’n’Bone Man (Hella powerful)
“Sunset Lover” | Petit Biscuit (The only instrumental dance tune on this playlist, and it is literally summer in a song.)
“Say You Won’t Let Go” | James Arthur (*heart eyes*)
“Dancing On My Own” | Calum Scott (*sad eyes*)
“As Long as You Love Me” | Sleeping At Last (I LOVE Sleeping At Last, and this is his cover of a Backstreet Boys classic!)
“(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano” | Sampha (Just recently was introduced to Sampha and I love his music!  This song is beautiful and the piano is A+)
“Friends” | Francis and the Lights ft. Bon Iver and Kanye West (This song gives me chills. That is all.)
“Skinny Love” | Birdy (*more heart eyes*)
“Starving” | Hailee Steinfeld (This is an acoustic version of the song and it’s really good! Though I’m torn between the radio version and this one being my favourite.)
“1973” | James Blunt (One of my favourite older songs from the 2000s!)
“Let’s Hurt Tonight” | OneRepublic (Super dramatic song in every way and still one of my faves!)

Keep on jamming & talk soon! /R
